Thursday Nov. 16th, the officers and members prepared retired engine 784 to leave South Ward. She was purchased by a private individual in Virginia. Retired engine 784 served us and the borough of Tamaqua faithfully for many years. Good luck to her and her new owner!

We at the South Ward Fire Company are proud to report that there are several members participating in an essentials of firefighting class being held at the fire company. The class is also being attended by members of the Citizens and American Hose of Tamaqua.
